Cable Assembler - Waterlooville - £14.24ph Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm Are you an experienced Cable Assembler looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a growing electronics manufacturer in Waterlooville, Hampshire? We're recruiting for a PCB Cable Assembler to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be working on high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. What's in it for you? £14.24 per hour No weekend working Free Parking & Easy transport links Temp to Perm opportunity Supportive & experienced team Clean, modern manufacturing environment Ongoing training & development The Role As a Cable Assembler, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring excellent workmanship & attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for: Assembling PCB & cable assemblies to engineering drawings & work instructions Carrying out visual inspections of completed assemblies Identifying assembly defects including soldering faults & wiring discrepancies Using microscopes, hand tools & measuring equipment Reading engineering drawings, schematics & bills of materials Recording production & quality documentation accurately Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards What we're looking for To be successful in this Cable Assembler role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have: Previous experience assembling PCB or cable assemblies Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams Excellent attention to detail Good manual dexterity & soldering experience Experience using inspection equipment such as microscopes (desirable) IPC certification or similar (advantageous) A positive attitude & strong team-working skillsIf you're looking for your next opportunity as a Cable Assembler in Waterlooville, Hampshire, we'd love to hear from you.
