Locum Planning and Highways Lawyer

Venn Group are partnered with a reputable Local Authority in the North-West in their search for a Locum Planning & Highways Lawyer

The successful candidate will cover the following:

• Providing specialist legal advice to the Council on planning, highways, and related local government law matters
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and completing a wide range of planning and highways agreements
• Advising planning officers, highways officers, elected members, and senior management on complex legal issues arising from development proposals and infrastructure projects.
• Preparing and completing agreements under relevant legislation, including s106 agreements, deeds of variation, s38/s278 highways agreements and highways dedication and adoptions agreements

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3-month rolling contract

Working Arrangement: Full-time or part-time, fully remote

Rate: £50-60 per hour, umbrella (DOE)
