JOB DESCRIPTION

\n

Support senior sales coverage for Chinese inbound multinational clients by helping deliver cross-border payments solutions and driving pipeline growth within Subsidiary Payments Sales.

\n

As a Payments Sales Associate in Subsidiary Payments Sales, you will support the coverage of Chinese inbound multinational clients expanding internationally. You will work closely with senior sales professionals, coverage teams, and product and implementation partners to help deliver treasury services, merchant services, and trade and working capital solutions. This role builds product knowledge and client engagement skills, with a focus on supporting Mandarin-speaking clients and cross-border needs across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and other markets.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the sale of payments products across treasury services, merchant services, and trade and working capital solutions
  • \n
Assist senior team members in managing relationships with Chinese multinational clients and prospects expanding internationallyPartner with coverage, product, and implementation teams to support solution delivery and executionPrepare client materials, including pitch books, proposals, and supporting analysis for meetings and strategic discussionsIdentify potential opportunities within existing client relationships and support pipeline development activitiesConduct industry and client research to understand client needs, including cross-border treasury considerations and local regulatory requirementsCoordinate support for regional request for proposal (RFP) responses and onboarding activitiesMaintain clear communication across China-based headquarters teams and local market teams to align on client strategy and next steps\n

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in banking, finance, or a related field, including internships
  • \n
Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)Ability to support sales activities across payments, treasury services, and corporate banking solutionsDemonstrated ability to prepare client-facing materials (e.g., pitch books, proposals, and analysis)Analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize research into clear client insightsOrganizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across teams and geographiesAttention to detail in deliverables and client materials\n

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
